ASPECTE CLINICE SI TERAPEUTICE IN MALFORMATIILE CARDIACE DUCTO-DEPENDENTE (PARTEA A II-A)

Alina-Costina Luca, Andreea-Simona Holoc, Mirabela Subotnicu and Constantin Iordache

CLINIC AND THERAPEUTIC ASPECTS IN DUCTUS-DEPENDENT CONGENITAL HEART DEFECTS (PART II)

Alina-Costina Luca, Andreea-Simona Holoc, Mirabela Subotnicu and Constantin Iordache

ABSTRACT

The cardiac congenital malformations with duct dependent pulmonary circulation are cardiopathies with severe neonatal manifestations and quickly progressive hemodynamic degradation. The obvious semeiology at the birth requires an appropriate diagnostic and an early therapeutic management through the maintenance of the arterial channel permeability.

Keywords: duct dependent pulmonary circulation, right ventricular obstruction, arterial channel persistence, prostaglandin E1

CLINIC AND THERAPEUTIC ASPECTS IN DUCTUS-DEPENDENT CONGENTITAL HEART DEFECTS – PART I

Alina-Costina Luca, Andreea-Simona Holoc, Mirabela Subotnicu and Constantin Iordache

ABSTRACT

Congenital heart defects with ductus-dependent circulation have a complex cardiovascular physiology. After birth, the condition of these children is critical, they are asymptomatic and their pulmonary vascular resistance decreases leading to progressive hemodynamic deterioration. Early Identification of these defects and the start of appropriate therapy allow to maintain the cardiovascular balance.

Keywords: congenital heart defect, ductus-dependent systemic circulation, persistence of ductus arteriosus, E1 prostaglandin
